Feeling Mask
Children were excited when they were first told about this activity. At the beginning, children will act out different feelings. They have to think of a situation that makes them feel in a certain way; happy, sad or mad. After they have discussed for a while about different feelings, they were each given paper plates to do face masks depicting their different feelings. Children were encouraged to decorate their masks.
Howell said,”My mask is red like a volcano. When I am angry the lava will come down!”
